The Cleveland Zazen Group operates on the Buddhist concept of
dana (or giving). Giving from the heart allows future practitioners to enjoy the same opportunities that past contributors made possible for you.
During the past nearly five decades, the Cleveland Zazen Group has sat at university buildings, in Unitarian and Catholic churches, and in private members’ homes. Eight years ago, group members purchased a home and we now have a permanent location with a real zendo, space for both sitting and walking meditation, and a facility capable of housing extended meditation retreats. But we are also responsible for maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep and that takes a modest, but continuous source of income. Won’t you consider making a donation to help sustain the continuation of Zen in Cleveland? Again, all contributions go directly to facility maintenance and meditation practice; none of our officers or members personally receive even a penny of your donations.
